Notable:

With Harkins a scratch it was a chance for Mikey Eyssimont to bring his brand of tenacious hockey to the NHL in his second ever game.

The game started off rather slowly for both teams. So much so that my biggest question was whether or not I liked the Kraken uniforms (majority of you did not for the record).

The team did lose Mason Appleton who was hurt in the 2nd period and didn’t return for the 3rd.

The goal scoring continues for Mark Scheifele who now has 10 goals in 14 games which is an over 50 goal pace for the season. The OT GWG was the 36th game-winning goal of his career which puts him into a tie with Blake Wheeler (in 160 fewer games with Jets) for top spot on the all-time list.

The 300th goal of Blake Wheeler‘s career tied the game with four seconds left. It was also the 750th point as a member of the Winnipeg Jets.

Josh Morrissey with the primary assist on the OT winner gives him 14 assists in 14 games. Quest for 82 continues for number 44.

The Jets improve to 9-4-1 on the season and are 7-1-1 in their last nine games. They sit 1st in the Central and 2nd in the Western Conference behind the Golden Knights.
