Game 64: Jets 4 Golden Knights 0 post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as from interim coach Lowry.

In a game the Jets absolutely had to have Connor Hellebuyck was incredible and the Wpg offence finally woke up. They win it 4-0 over Vegas to climb within two points of the Knight as they hit the 70 points mark improving to 30-24-10 on the season.

Notable:

The Jets took about 15 minutes to get a shot on goal in the 1st period.  Would it be classic Jets rope-a-dope (that’s a joke…mostly).

Pierre-Luc Dubois opened the scoring on the power play with his 25th goal of the year.

Evgeny Svechnikov had a goal called back due to his team being offside.

Mark Scheifele scored his 24th goal of the season after Nikolaj Ehlers did some nifty work in the Vegas zone.

For the first time ever Kyle Connor hit the 40 assist mark.

Five straight games with a goal for Nikolaj Ehlers.

Connor Hellebuyck was sensational in the game picking up his 28th shutout after making 42 saves in the effort.

Multi points:

Mark Scheifele 1G 1A
Nikolaj Ehlers 1G 1A
Kyle Connor 2A
Blake Wheeler 2A
