Notable:
Josh Morrissey continues to look refreshed as he jumped into the play a number of times including in the first period when he scored a nice wrister.
Dynamic winger Nikolaj Ehlers wired a rocket top corner to give the Jets a 2-0 lead and ended up with the game-winner on the power play in the 3rd period. While I realize this isn’t a full Flames team Ehlers really did it all this evening. He scored twice, he made some unbelievable passes, he gains the zone effortlessly, etc etc.
Bit of a scary moment for Jansen Harkins who was on his knees facing the boards when he got checked from behind by the Flames Coleman in the 1st period. The two spent most of the game jawing at one another which led to a ten minute misconduct in the 3rd period.
The game looked like it may have needed extra time but the Flames tying goal with 28.8 seconds was disallowed after review due to a Matthew Tkachuk high stick.
