Note: While it was a much better effort, the Jets lost their fifth straight game last night to the Oilers, which concluded their five-game homestand at a less than stellar 0-5-0.  Today they are flying to Montreal to begin a three-game road trip that will see them play Montreal on Friday, Ottawa on Monday and then flying to Calgary to play the Flames next Wednesday. No media availability today.

Note II:  The Jets picked up five new faces for their taxi squad on Wednesday morning ahead of their three-game road trip.

Note III:  The Moose will conclude their 17-game homestand this afternoon at 4 PM when they take on the Heat which will be the fifth straight game between these two clubs.  Manitoba is rolling right now with a seven-game (6-0-0-1) points streak.
