Winnipeg Free Press: Laine, Connor contract talks a high-price game of chicken. (Paywall). I suspect this shouldn’t really be a cause for any concern right now as we have heard from folks like Bob McKenzie for awhile not to expect any major announcements until sometime in September.
Winnipeg Sun: Laine to grace NHL 20 cover in Finland for second year running. First time a player will get the cover in back to back years according to Scott and probably means quite a bit to the video game loving Laine.

Illegal Curve: All 38 Mark Scheifele goals from the 2018-19 Winnipeg Jets season. Sure was a lot of “Wheeler to Schefiele, he scores” or simply a reference to 26 in this recap of all 38 goals scored by Mark Scheifele for the Jets last season. In total Wheeler had 14 primary assists and eight secondary assists to 55.
