Note II:  The Jets are back in business and will be gearing up for their 1st round series with the Blues starting with a practice out at the IcePlex today at 11 am.  With the status of Brandon Tanev (Update: He is day-to-day and won’t play game 1) on everyone’s mind it will be interesting to see what the story is with him.  You can find out this plus all the other Jets news and audio via the Jets Playoff Practice Report.

Note III:  The Moose took it on the chin in the home finale yesterday afternoon as the Heat beat them 6-2.  The loss was just the third regulation loss for Manitoba in their last 24 games at home and despite it they remain in the 4th and final playoff spot.  They are off today but will be back on the ice on Tuesday to practice for the final road trip of the regular season.

The good news for the AHL squad was they maintained their place in a playoff spot.
