The Jets were off on Saturday as the preseason winds down.  Today they resume skating as they get set to face the Ducks on Wednesday night.

Practice notes:

As per Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet no David Gustafsson at the downtown rink for the Jets but Nelson Nogier, who was dealing with an injury, is skating as a forward.

Assignments and waivers:

The Jets had 28 players (which including two injured players in Samberg and Suess) as of this morning but they have assigned David Gustafsson to the Moose and will place Dominic Toninato and Nelson Nogier on waivers according to what Jets bench boss Paul Maurice said in his media availability.
