The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they will host the official 2014 NHL Entry Draft Party on Friday, June 27th on the event floor at MTS Centre. The Draft Party will be held in conjunction with the National Hockey League’s 52nd annual Entry Draft to be held on June 27–28th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Doors for the Draft Party will open at 5:00 pm. Jay Richardson, the Jets public address announcer, will be your host for the event. At 6:00 pm, the live broadcast of TSN’s coverage of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft will be shown on the four-sided MTS Centre score clock, plus additional screens located throughout the MTS Centre.
Winnipeg Jets Mark Scheifele and Mark Stuart will be in attendance to take part in the event. All fans in attendance will be eligible to win numerous prizes throughout the evening.
Tickets for the Draft Party will go on sale Monday, June 9th at 12:00 Noon. All tickets are $30.00. Fans will have their choice between two packages (while supplies last):
Package A includes an autograph and photo opportunity with Mark Scheifele and Mark Stuart, along with a Winnipeg Jets Draft Party Puck.
Package B includes a photo opportunity in the Winnipeg Jets Dressing Room, and a Winnipeg Jets Draft Party Puck signed in advance by Mark Scheifele and Mark Stuart.
Everyone in attendance will receive complimentary food and a beverage. Tickets can be purchased by going to www.winnipegjets.com; all purchasers will be limited to eight tickets per transaction.
The Jets first round choice is currently scheduled to take place at #9.
