The Jets lose the game and they lost Nikolaj Ehlers so a tough road trip might have gotten a little more costly as they fall to 2-3-0 during the six-game roadie. Vegas defeat Winnipeg 4-3.

Notable:
Cole Perfetti broke his goalless drought as he tipped a Josh Morrissey shot home to make it 1-0 for the Jets. Brilliant play by Nikolaj Ehlers just before to grab a loose puck and start the cycle.
Two mistakes by the Jets including Morgan Barron with a blind pass that resulted in Logan Stanley getting burnt and then Adam Lowry was caught in no-man’s land 93 seconds later which saw the Golden Knights take a 2-1 lead.
Nikolaj Ehlers was not happy as he slapped his stick to the ice in frustration during the power play and then slowly went back to Jets bench. Here is the replay which cost him the rest of the game:

Didn’t look very good.
While things weren’t looking for on the Ehlers front the Jets continued to push which saw Cole Perfetti really breaking his goalless drought when he buried a Morrissey rebound to tie the game 2-2 for his second of the game.
Netminder Eric Comrie continued to look good when tested including making a big glove stop late in the 2nd to keep the game tied.
After Vegas took advantage of a fortunate bounce to take the lead, Gabriel Vilardi the centre won a faceoff which allowed Winnipeg to move the puck around ending up on the stick of Neal Pionk who got his fourth of the season to tie the game 3-3.
Then with some lax defence about seven minutes later, Manitoban Brett Howden put Vegas ahead for good with a tap-in goal to make it 4-3 with 4:05 left in the period. That was his second of the game.
With the loss the Jets drop to 2-3-0 on this road trip and sit 18-6-0 on the season.
