Some Jets fans were curious what would be happening with the Jets netminder. Well wonder no more as the team announced they have signed him to a two year deal.
Of course it begs the question what is the goalie rotation going to be like? Was this contract done to give the Jets some expansion draft protection? Hutchinson is speaking to the media at 11 am today.

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with restricted free agent goaltender Michael Hutchinson on a new two-year contract worth an AAV of $1.150 million per season.
Hutchinson, 26, appeared in 30 games this past season with the Jets, recording a 9-15-3 record with a 2.84 goals against average and a .907 save percentage. Over his NHL career, Hutchinson has a 32-26-8 record with a 2.53 goals against average and .912 save percentage in 71 career games.
The Barrie, ON native was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the third round, 77th overall of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by the Jets as a free agent on July 19, 2013.
