Winnipeg Jets sign Bryan Little to five year deal

The Winnipeg Jets and Bryan Little avoided arbitration when they agreed on a new deal today.

The terms of the deal were as follows:

Duration: Five years
Cap Hit (AAV per season):  $4.7 million
Total:  $23.5 million.

Richard did his analysis back in May on what he anticipated both sides compromising on and he projected it as follows:

Duration: Four years
Cap Hit (AAV per season): $3.75 million
Total: $15.00 million
