Winnipeg Jets set out training camp players ahead of final day

It was a busy Monday ahead of the final day of Jets training camp on Tuesday.

Jansen Harkins hit the ice before scrimmage demonstrating that whatever had been ailing him wasn’t precluding him from skating today.  Then the team put five players (including Mathieu Perreault) on waivers ahead of the scrimmage being played at Bell MTS Place.

Which consolidates the Jets down to one group for tomorrow’s final day of camp (assuming no waiver claims):

Players:

Goalies (3): Laurent Brossoit, Connor Hellebuyck and Eric Comrie.

Defencemen (11): Nathan Beaulieu, Dylan DeMelo, Derek Forbort, Josh Morrissey, Sami Niku, Nelson Nogier, Neal Pionk, Tucker Poolman, Dylan Samberg, Luca Sbisa and Logan Stanley.

Forwards (16):  Mason Appleton, Kyle Connor, Andrew Copp, Nikolaj Ehlers, David Gustafsson, Jansen Harkins, Patrik Laine, Trevor Lewis, Adam Lowry, Mathieu Perreault, Mark Scheifele, Paul Stastny, CJ Suess, Nate Thompson, Kristian Vesalainen and Blake Wheeler.

Unfit to practice (1): Dominic Toninato.

Practice Time:

It is scheduled for 11 AM.

The Jets still have Ville Heinola and Cole Perfetti to add to the mix.
