With the news that Mason Appleton was “very doubtful” for the game against the Kings and Pierre-Luc Dubois was considered a game-time decision due to a nagging lower-body injury which forced him to leave practice early on Monday, the team was unable add Jonsson-Fjallby because of roster limitation forcing them to go 11/7.
Yesterday after practice Rick Bowness indicated that Pierre-Luc Dubois is “Day-to-day. He might try to skate tomorrow. We’ll see how he feels in the morning.” and with respect to Mason Appleton he indicated that 22 was being reevaluated.
Ahead of their road trip to Edmonton the Jets announced that they have placed Appleton on IR and recalled Jonsson-Fjallby on an emergency basis. Number 71 took part in today’s practice.
Since he was reassigned over two weeks ago Jonsson-Fjallby has played four games (3G 1A) in the AHL with the Moose and two games in the NHL with the Jets.
