Winnipeg Jets reassigned Luke Green from Vaasan Sport of Liiga to the Moose (paper transaction)

Today on the AHL transaction page they have Jets 2016 3rd rounder Luke Green being reassigned from Liiga back to their AHL affiliate Manitoba.  For those experiencing reverse déjà vu it is because two weeks ago today the Jets did this same thing except in reverse as Green was reassigned from the AHL to Liiga.

He would play two games for Sports before he terminated his contract in Finland for personal reasons on March 8th.

I’ve been told this is simply a paper transaction and that Green will not be rejoining the Moose.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
