Player Audio:

Drew Stafford:  Ready to go?  How does he catch up after being off for a week?  Best part about opening day?

Blake Wheeler:  Excitement about getting the season started.  Having a healthy roster.  What kind of expectations can you put on a team with this many rookies?  His thoughts on the Central?  Best part about opening night?  Does he think about the numbers he put up?  Jets are a bit unpredictable with all the youth?  Is it more or less comforting?

Shawn Matthias:  Ready to go after a tough pre-season.  How does he rate where his health is?  What excites him about this club?  His thoughts on who he may be playing with this season.  How can he compliment the two he skated with today? His type of play is needed for play in the Central.

Patrik Laine:  On getting ready for his first NHL game.  Who is here to watch the game?  How does he like the look of his line (with Connor and Perreault).  Have any of the veteran players talked to him about what to expect tomorrow? What has been the most difficult part transitioning to the North American game?

Coach Audio:

Topics:  Getting ready to start the season.  What does he say about the four young guys in his lineup?  What does he like about putting Connor and Laine on a line together?  Did he see that option to switch Laine’s wing from outset? What can people expect from this team this year?  On the Jets chance to compete?  On the unpredictable nature.  How predictable is the Central Division?  Handful of NHL ready guys with the Moose, what does that do to the young players with the Jets?  What does he like about Matthias/Little/Stafford?  Should folks be surprised that Matthias is in a top six role? On Setoguchi getting another chance.  Is there a sense of relief with the two goalies now that the situation is resolved?
