Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets get prepared for Sidney Crosby and the Penguins on Sunday with a day of practice.

The Jets celebrated Connor Hellebuyck night with a big 8-3 win which improved them to 4-0-0 start for the first time for any NHL club in Winnipeg.

Originally Sunday was going to be big for two reasons. The first and more important was the organization will be signing Bryan Little to a one day contract so he can retire as a member of the Winnipeg Jets organization. A team that he played hard for right until the unfortunate early end to his career back in 2019 and then continued to give an assist to even when he was no longer on the ice. The second less important thing was it was originally looking like disgruntled and subsequently traded prospect Rutger McGroarty would be playing but that was kiboshed when the Penguins assigned him to their AHL squad.
