Coach Maurice:  Ben Chiarot’s return.  More on Chiarot.  Having the Habs bring a buzz to the building.  Patrik Laine today compared to last year.  On having too high expectations on young players.  Any concerns with the guys who missed?  Beaulieu’s fight.  This Jets team practicing what they preach.  Any update on Perreault?  Is there a moment when fights drive unity?  Regarding the Beaulieu fight with Kunin, the teams played back on Oct 10th and nothing happened.

Health Update:

The four players who didn’t practice are fine according to coach Maurice.

On Mathieu Perreault the Jets bench boss said “He’s getting better.  We’re having good days now.  I think maybe we kinda had our fingers crossed at some point because it was Montreal and it would mean so much for him to play in this game, but it’s not going to be Montreal.  And then there will be three more days here.  It is possible that he might be ready for St. Louis (Dec 27th) but even with that one having three days off, we’re being very, very cautious with any kind of symptoms but he’s had good days.  So he’s not far off I don’t think.”
