Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

A report of the Jets practice at the MTS Centre.

Patrik Laine at practice

Courtesy of Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun we get the following lines and D pairs:

Perreault-Scheifele-Laine
Ehlers-Little-Wheeler
Matthias-Lowry-Armia
Dano-Copp-Thorburn

Enstrom-Byfuglien
Morrissey-Trouba
Chiarot-Postma

Pavelec & Hutchinson

Ted indicated that Nic Petan is on the ice but not part of line rushes.  We will have to wait until after practice to find out if he was banged up against the Wild or if coach Maurice is making a tweak with Marko Dano and Andrew Copp looking like they are both back in.

Audio:

Jacob Trouba:  Excited to get back into a game?  What did he see from the Jets watching from up above?  Is Friday’s game the biggest game of the year?  Thoughts on the trade deadline move.  Would he have liked to see the Jets get some help?  Any ideas as to why they’ve been able to go 3-0 against the Blues?

Marko Dano:  Ready to go?  Getting some power play opportunity.  How does he see things right now?

Ondrej Pavelec:  On getting into as many games as he can down the stretch.  How long has he been healthy?  Good to go now? Could he play tomorrow?

Coach Maurice:  Is Pavelec healthy, can he play tomorrow?  Giving Hellebuyck some individual one on one time with goalie coach.  What does Pavelec’s presence mean going forward?  Status of Dano and Copp?  On the team embracing youth.  On what Drew Stafford meant to the Jets.  On getting Trouba back with Morrissey and what it means for the Jets.  Past success against the Blues.  On the two different groups of players (veterans and youth) in the room and being able to integrate it.  Does he feel like he has gotten enough from the veteran group?  On the transition of power from the vets to the youth.  What does he notice about Dano’s game when he gets more ice time?
