Notable:

Kyle Connor’s 28th of the season tied the game 1-1 and kept him on pace to become the first Jets 2.0 player to get 100 points.

This goal to make it 2-1 for Winnipeg probably makes those boo birds Mark Scheifele’s been hearing all game music to his ears. 55 gets his team leading 29th goals. He’s on pace for 45 goals which would set a new career high for him.

Not to minimize Kyle Connor’s 29th goal of the season with 0.5 seconds on the clock to give the Jets a 3-1 lead after 40 but…it also means that The Gus Bus is riding a four game point streak.

Rasmus Kupari got his fourth goal of the season into the empty net to ice the game while Nikolaj Ehlers picked up his 30th assist of the season. That’s the fifth time in his career he’s hit the 30 assist mark and he’s on pace to smash his career high of 39 set in 2016-17 with a pace of 57. And if it wasn’t for two covid shortened seasons and an injury he’d likely have done it three more times in 10 full NHL seasons.

The Jets held the Canadiens to just three shots in the 2nd period which is the second straight game they’ve held their opponent to just three shots in a single period. They continue their shot suppression as they hold an opponent to under 30 shots for 13th straight game.

Mark Scheifele matched his jersey number with his 55th game-winning goal for the Winnipeg Jets. It was the 7th one he’s got this season. His career high in a season is 10 set back in 2022-23. The franchise leader is his linemate Kyle Connor with 58.

Connor Hellebuyck with an efficient and tidy 24-save victory which gives him 31 on the season.

Multipoint Game:
