Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers: Today’s Hockey Headlines | October 7, 2026

A daily roundup of Jets, Moose coverage and all the pro hockey news that matters in Manitoba and beyond.

Note: The Jets were off on Monday after a very successful road trip which saw them pick up wins in back-to-back games against the Red Wings and Penguins. Today, they face another stiff test in the Avalanche as they take on a Western Conference team for the first time this season.

Note II: After today’s final buzzer between Winnipeg and Colorado, join the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we break down the game. We expect to get underway around 9:10 PM CT.

Note III: The Moose hit the ice on Monday for a practice as they prepare for their first road trip of the season. They hit the ice again for another practice today at 10:30 AM CT.
