After nearly two decades of Saturdays being synonymous with The Illegal Curve Hockey Show, a new day dawns for Illegal Curve Hockey.
In conjunction with our new partners at the Sick Media Network, we are excited to announce that, beginning Tuesday, October 13, The Illegal Curve Hockey Show will begin to broadcast daily, Monday to Friday, at 3:00 PM CT, on the Illegal Curve YouTube Channel.

Along with the weekday edition of The Illegal Curve Hockey Show, The Illegal Curve Postgame Show will continue to broadcast live, following each and every Winnipeg Jets game.
By partnering with the Sick Media Network, Illegal Curve Hockey will bring you even more Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose insight and analysis, expanding on the coverage that we have provided for the past 20 years. Most importantly, Illegal Curve remains Illegal Curve, with the same voices and the same commitment to covering hockey in Winnipeg that we’ve had since 2007.
The Illegal Curve Hockey mission statement and commitment to our audience remains the same: Your Home for Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose Hockey in Manitoba.

ILLEGAL CURVE JOINS THE SICK MEDIA NETWORK
Daily at 3 p.m. CT, plus live post-game coverage after every Winnipeg Jets game
Winnipeg, October 2, 2026 – Sick Media is partnering with Illegal Curve Hockey, one of Winnipeg’s most established independent sports media properties, bringing the brand into the Sick Media network while preserving the voice, identity and local credibility it has built over nearly two decades.
Beginning Tuesday, October 13, Illegal Curve will deliver a daily live show at 3 p.m. CT covering Winnipeg sports with a strong focus on the Jets, while also tackling the biggest national sports storylines. The team will also host a live post-game show after every Winnipeg Jets game, giving fans a consistent destination for immediate reaction, analysis and conversation.
The show will stream live on YouTube, with episodes available afterward across major podcast platforms. Illegal Curve will also extend the conversation throughout the day with social media clips, news, analysis and original posts.
Founded in 2007, Illegal Curve Hockey has become a fixture in Manitoba sports media, providing year-round coverage of the Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose and hockey across the province. With credentialed access to both the Jets and Moose, its team delivers breaking news, interviews, analysis, feature stories, prospect coverage and live reporting from practices, games and special events.
The Illegal Curve line-up includes Dave Minuk, editor of Illegal Curve Hockey and co-host of the Illegal Curve Hockey Show and Post-Game Show; Drew Mindell, co-host of both programs and a long-time Winnipeg hockey voice; and Ezra Ginsburg, an analyst who has covered the Jets, the NHL and emerging prospects with Illegal Curve since its early years.
By joining Sick Media, Illegal Curve gains access to expanded production, sales, guest booking, distribution and network resources designed to help an already-established local brand grow its audience and reach. The partnership is another major step in Sick Media’s strategy to build strong local coverage across all seven Canadian NHL markets and beyond, working with recognizable personalities and trusted sports brands in each city.
Winnipeg hockey. Every day. Every Jets game. One bigger platform.
