Note: The Jets took Friday off and it was a quiet day in the news cycle following their 6-2 win over the Canucks. They are scheduled to practice today at 11 AM and all eyes will be on whether Josh Morrissey remains in a yellow, non-contact jersey or switches to a regular one. Check back for the Practice Report.
Note II: The Moose remained perfect at home (5-0-0-0) with a 2-1 OT win over the Marlies. Walker Duehr scored both goals for Manitoba while Domenic DiVincentiis was solid between the pipes. These two teams will have a rematch tonight at 6 PM and you can catch me on the broadcast as I’ll be joining Daniel Fink to provide some colour analysis.
Note III: Jets prospect Jacob Cloutier (2025 7th) scored his sixth goal of the season to tie the game for Saginaw, although the Spirit would ultimately fall. He’s up to 6G 8A for 14 points in 15 games this season.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ Lowry recounts locker-room scramble that led to game-winning assist. (Paywall). Good on Danielle Bain of TSN who asked the question which elicited quite the response from the captain.

NHL.com: Lowry’s unusual route to a milestone assist. Who knows what would have happened if he would have left his equipment on the truck!
