Note: The lotto balls spun yesterday at the NHL Draft Lottery, and when the Leafs landed the 1st overall pick, some thought we might see a replay of 2016, when Toronto picked first and Winnipeg second. Instead, it was the 9th-place Sharks who jumped to No. 2, pushing the Jets down to 8th from 7th. Now the big question is: what will they do with the pick? You can share your thoughts as to what you think they should do here.
Note II: Down in Michigan, the Moose and Griffins will play Game 3 of their second-round series, tied 1-1. The series has shifted to Grand Rapids for the remainder of the best-of-five set. While this series continues, we now know the Conference Finals opponent, as Chicago defeated Texas three games to two last night. Stay tuned for the pre-game report. Puck drop is at 6 p.m. CT.
Jets/Moose news:

Sportsnet: Why Jets should explore all options with No. 8 pick. Given the reality of this team they are going to have to make a decision as to what direction they want to go in because trying to straddle the line of contending but also developing seems untenable.
Moose news:
