Of course the big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection. We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg at the end of June. Global News: Stanley Cup final drama providing incentive for Winnipeg Jets and rest of NHL. The good health is definitely a key but there is quite a but of depth that these two teams have that is lacking with a team like Winnipeg.
