A daily roundup of Jets, Moose coverage — all the pro hockey news that matters in Manitoba and beyond.

Note: The Jets are done. The Moose are done. The Stanley Cup Playoffs are now done. The big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection coming up soon. We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg. You can also check out our chat with Craig Button as it pertains to the pick here. Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Five lessons the Jets can learn from the ’Canes Stanley Cup’. (Paywall). This is a copycat league so Kenny gives the NHL club of Winnipeg five ways they could model their game after the most recent champ.

The Athletic: NHL free agent big board 3.0: Expanding to 75 top targets with offseason upon us. (Paywall). The Jets have just six UFAs left and of those players only Eric Comrie made the expanded list. Although, I suspect he gets another deal done with Winnipeg.
