Note: The Jets are done. The Moose are done. We will still try to get you anything relevant to the pro hockey clubs of Manitoba during the next little bit. Of course the big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection in just under two weeks time. We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg. You can also check out our chat with Craig Button as it pertains to the pick here. Note II: The Stanley Cup was handed out last night in Vegas as Nikolaj Ehlers became a champion as his Hurricanes defeated the Golden Knights by a final score of 3-0 to win for just the second time in franchise history. After the win Ehlers was asked about the impact Winnipeg has on his career and he got quite emotional before giving an answer that will resonate with folks in Manitoba.
