Note: Saw that the Wild announced their EBUG for the upcoming season on Tuesday, which has me wondering when we’ll get word on who the Jets will name to the position now that all 32 NHL teams are required to have one. Interestingly, none of the goalies drafted by Winnipeg since the franchise returned in 2011 are eligible for the role. Maybe Altona’s Cole Kehler, who played three games for the Moose in 2021, will get the call. Of course, there’s no requirement that the Jets’ EBUG have any previous connection to the organization.
