Winnipeg Free Press: GM won’t make a trade for sake of making a trade. While fans can certainly understand not doing something for the sake of doing something just to make a splash they are pushing to see things improved so this team can compete in a very tough central division.
Winnipeg Free Press: Is Chevy shopping Kane? The Jets GM chose to not answer the question on the “apparent” controversy.
Winnipeg Sun: Plenty of interest in Jets forwards Kane and Byfuglien. There has been plenty of chatter in the lead up to the draft and tonight we will find out if there is smoke.
