Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were off on Sunday following a successful three-game road trip which concluded with three wins including an exciting 5-4 OT win over the Capitals that kept Winnipeg in top spot in the NHL. They did send Parker Ford and Brad Lambert back to the AHL which was seen as a move to accrue cap space. They are back in the city and will practice today at hockey for all centre at 11 AM CST as they get ready for the Hurricanes who they will face tomorrow night. Check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose are off for the next few days as part of the AHL All-Star break. Yesterday was the Skills Competition in which Jets prospect Elias Salomonsson (2022 2nd) took part including closing out the relay for the Western Conference while rocking some James Bond glasses. Tonight is the game which takes place in Palm Springs.

Note III: Out west Jets prospect Brayden Yager (2023 1st) had a natural hat trick for Lethbridge while out east Kieron Walton (2024 6th) got his first goal after being held without one in his four prior games. Despite slowing down the last few games he remains 6th overall in the OHL points race.
