Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets kicked off their three-game road trip last night in Montreal where they picked up their NHL leading 35th victory courtesy of a 4-1 win over the Canadiens which saw them overcome a slow start to roll on to a victory. Today is a travel day. They are next in action tomorrow in Boston.

Note II: The Moose are in Chicago where they will hope to continue the success they found to start 2025 on the road which saw them go 4-0-1 against very good competition. There was also a goalie swap yesterday as a pair of prospects switched teams with Thomas Milic heading to the ECHL and Domenic Divincentiis going up to the AHL. This club finds themselves in a similar predicament to last year’s squad who were both in last place in the AHL at this time with similar records (12-23-1 in 2023-24 and 11-23-1 in 2024-25). They are 18 points back of the Wolves who sit in 4th in the Central although Manitoba has two games in hand. If they want to turn things around the time is nigh. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.
