Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets juggernaut continued to roll along last night steamrolling the Blue Jackets by a final score of 5-0 as they remain atop the NHL standings having won their seventh straight game last night which gives them points in 13 straight games (matching a record for a Winnipeg based NHL club). Today they are scheduled to practice for the first time in over a week at 12 noon. Stay tuned for the Jets Practice Report.

Note II: We learned that the Jets had activated Rasmus Kupari from IR on Tuesday and they loaned him to the Moose of the AHL for a conditioning assignment. The Moose will take on the Senators for the third straight game but tonight’s contest takes place at CAA Arena in Belleville as they kick off three straight on the road. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.

Note III: We got health updates from head coach Rick Bowness yesterday after morning skate.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Connor Hellebuyck pitches shutout, Jets win seventh straight to retain first place. The Jets top netminder was not tested very much by the Blue Jackets but made the stops he was required to make to help his club secure two points for the standings bank.
