Note: The Jets special teams did them in on Tuesday night in San Jose as they looked to extend their winning streak but instead left northern California with a 2-1 loss after they went 0/5 with the man advantage and also which saw them give up a late goal against on the PK which proved to be the game-winning goal. No morning skate today in L.A. after playing last night. Check back for the pre-game report. Puck drop is at 9:30 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Los Angeles, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note II: The Moose practiced on Tuesday as they prepare to face their division rival Admirals this weekend in Winnipeg. A few players were missing from skate although no recalls up to the NHL as they sit with just 12 healthy forwards. We shall see if that changes today. Practice is at 10:30 AM.

Note IV: While the team won’t yet confirm a timeline, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press has said he’s been told the expectation is 6-8 weeks for Kyle Connor. Darren Dreger also discussed this yesterday on Insider Trading on TSN which you can read/watch here.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Laurent Brossoit brilliant, but Jets power-play letdown costs them in San Jose. The one positive from the loss was the play of netminder Laurent Brossoit who put forth another excellent start for his club.

Winnipeg Sun: ‘Hold the fort’: Winnipeg Jets brace for life without Kyle Connor. Easier said than done when the guy who has accounted for 20% of your goals this season is suddenly gonzo.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets’ Brossoit back to ‘harmonious place’ after early struggles. Scott caught up with the goalie to get his insight into the season to date (they spoke prior to the Jets left on the road trip).

Winnipeg Free Press: Sleepy start, special teams stymie Jets in 2-1 loss to Sharks. (Paywall). Mike gives you his bird’s eye view of the game from insider SAP Center.

Global News: Late power play goal lifts Sharks past Winnipeg Jets 2-1. Another recap of last night’s contest.

The Mercury News: Goaltending, special teams come up huge for Sharks in win over Jets. Gain insight into how a writer who covers the Jets opponent saw the game.
