Note: The Jets faced off against the Devils last night and after a calm opening period put up an big offensive output to take it 6-3. Lots of guys had big nights in the victory which was the fourth win in the last five games for Winnipeg. It wasn’t all good news as the team lost Rasmus Kupari in the 1st period to an apparent shoulder injury. He is going to be evaluated further today. The team will head to hockey for all centre to practice at 12 noon. Be sure to check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose were off on Tuesday after a less than stellar conclusion to their four-game homestand on Monday where they lost 5-2 to the Rocket in front of thousands of kids during the Project 11 School Day game. They will practice today at hockey for all centre at 10:30 AM as they get set to head out on the road tomorrow on a six-game road trip starting in Belleville on Friday. Winnipeg Sun: Plenty of room for plaudits after latest Jets win. There were a number of Jets who could have been chosen as ‘star of the game’ after a number of players contributed to the big win over the Devils.

Winnipeg Sun: Connor’s hot streak continues as Jets pound Devils. The play of number 81 right now is simply remarkable. His scoring has even caught the eye of folks in Toronto as he tied Auston Matthews for most goals in the NHL. It was also the 46th game-winning goal of his career which puts Kyle Connor into top spot on the Jets.

Winnipeg Sun: Settled feeling leading to Appleton’s finest performance. His emergence this season has really helped solidify the identify of the Jets third line.

The Athletic Winnipeg: How the Jets can build off solid start: 5 areas for improvement. (Paywall). Murat’s five include: 1) More of the good Ehlers. 2) Better from Hellebuyck and Brossoit. 3) Vilardi’s impending return. 4) Another Ace or King on defence. 5) Fewer Grade As on the PK.

I’d say all four lines contributed to the win but that 4th line only ended up being Morgan Barron (who scored) given the Jets went 11/7 and then lost Rasmus Kupari to end the game with 10 forwards.
