Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were full of promise on Tuesday and Wednesday as they tried to harness the good vibes generated from the identical contract extensions signed by Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele but it was not to be as they found themselves consistently going down a goal throughout the game and they just couldn’t catch up.

Note II: The team is traveling today so it is a media day off.

Note III: The Moose got down to 28 players left in training camp after the club made two more cuts on Wednesday. They are scheduled to practice today as they continue to prepare for the season/home opener on Friday. We’ve got four tickets in the Illegal Curve Zone so drop me a DM on twitter (@icdave) or send me an email dave@illegalcurve.com. The Moose are scheduled to practice today at Canada Life.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets showed a different, better side even in defeat. While there were some definite mistakes in their play last night no point in throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
