Illegal Curve: Former Ice head coach James Patrick named Victoria Royals Director of Player Development. When the WHL club in Winnipeg was purchased in June and moved to Washington State the new ownership group took the players and that’s pretty much it. Head coach and Winnipegger James Patrick has himself a new gig with the WHL club based in Victoria.
