Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets and Moose news, video and audio.

Note: The Jets took Monday off after a big win over the Blues the previous evening to conclude their road trip. Today they will kick off a two-game homestand with an ultra important contest against the Golden Knights who are currently mired in a four game losing streak. Morning skate gets underway at 10:30 AM so stay tuned for the pre-game report to get the full 411 ahead of the game. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT and following the final buzzer we want you to join the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show.

Note II: The Moose kick off their seven game road trip tonight in Abbotsford with a late night (9 PM CDT) puck drop. The team is rolling having gone five games with at least a point (4-0-0-1) and will look to have a much better effort than they did the last time they were in BC.

Note III: It is a triple-header Tuesday today as the Ice are the third Winnipeg based team who are also in action this evening as they welcome the Hitmen to town for a game. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Note IV: A letter went out to Jets season ticket holders from Jets Executive Chairman Mark Chipman announcing changes for next season. You can read it in full here.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets like a driver who can’t seem to pick a lane. It is going to make for one interesting six days until the trade deadline here in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets find a killer line. (Paywall). While the sample size is anything but large for this trio they certainly look like a line that could do some serious damage.

NHL.com: Jets focused on playoff push, not deals ahead of Trade Deadline, GM says. If Kevin Cheveldayoff doesn’t mention the word conversation while having a conversation I would be worried. No such fear in his most recent conversation with Tim.
