Note: The Jets were off on Wednesday and will be back in business today at 11 AM with a practice as they continue to gear up for their game in Vegas on Sunday. Be sure to check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose had their first day of practice yesterday as they returned from their Christmas break although they have a few less players than usual with Kristian Reichel, CJ Suess up with the Jets on emergency recalls as well as Mikey Eyssimont with the taxi squad. The team is taking today off but are scheduled to be back on the ice tomorrow for practice as they prepare for their home game against the Wild on Sunday.

Note III: With the World Junior Tournament being cancelled yesterday it will mean that Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti will be available for the Jets/Moose earlier than expected while 2021 1st rounder Chaz Lucius will return to Minnesota for NCAA action. 2020 2nd rounder Daniel Torgersson will head back to Sweden while 2021 2nd rounder Nikita Chibrikov heads back to Russia.

Moose news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Moose D-man denied Olympic dream. (Paywall). While it is certainly disappointing that he won’t have an opportunity to play on such a massive stage with Team Germany he will continue to play a huge role with the AHL club as he continues to push towards his NHL dream.
