Note: The Jets are back in action tonight as they welcome the Kings to town for the sixth game of this seven game homestand. Morning skate gets underway at 9:30 AM.  Be sure to check back for the pre-game report for the latest news and interviews. Puck drop is at 6 PM.

Note II: It isn’t just a Jets game day as the Moose are also in business as they conclude their six-game road trip with a re-match against Grand Rapids, whom they lost to last night. Puck drop is at 6 PM.

Winnipeg Sun: Streaking Kings take on equally-hot Jets. Wasn’t the Pacific Division supposed to be weak?  Someone forgot to tell the Kings that info. 

Winnipeg Sun: Wheeler sees signs of dominant Jets returning, plans to take care of his drought ‘in short order’. The last three games have been positive signs from a team that is seeing a number of players step up early in the season.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets need to get tough on mask policy. While the majority seem to be following the rules there have clearly been quite a few not following the rules.

Winnipeg Free Press: Swapping Ehlers for Lowry against Sharks a stroke of genius or plain lucky? (Paywall). It will be interesting to see how the swap goes.

Sportsnet: With a natural chemistry, Dubois and Connor forming dynamic duo for JetsFolks around these parts have seen 26/55 as a solid pairing for Winnipeg and quite quickly this season we have seen 80/81 form a similar sort of dynamic. Ken has more on the pairing which is driving the bus for the Jets these days.
