Note: It is going to be a busy July coming up for Illegal Curve. TSN: Loaded with offensive talent, Jets faced with difficult decisions for the expansion draft. Move over Kevin Cheveldayoff, Director of Scouting Craig Button is taking the reins as general manager of the Jets to share who he would protect and leave exposed to Seattle in the expansion draft. With too many talented players to protect, Winnipeg is set to lose a solid contributor.

Denver Post: Avalanche trades expansion-draft target Ryan Graves to New Jersey for a Russian forward and draft pick. It will be interesting to watch over the next few days to see teams trying to pull off trades rather than lose a player for nothing.
Sportsnet: Stars’ Ben Bishop to waive no-move clause for expansion draft. Quite a few players have been willing to make this move in order to give their current clubs some latitude when it comes to their lists.
NBC Sports: Panthers buy out Keith Yandle, extend Forsling and Duclair. The other team from Florida was busy making news on Thursday.
