Note:  The Jets got their road trip back on track last night in Ottawa as they defeated the Senators 3-2 to improve to 3-1-0 with one last game to go tonight in Toronto. We will have to wait for Paul Maurice’s pre-game media availability later in the afternoon to gain insight into the Jets lineup for tonight’s game against the Leafs.

Note II:  After two days off the Moose resume practice today as they get ready for their final home series of the regular season which gets underway on the 22nd.

Note III: Jets 2019 4th rounder Henri Nikkanen switching Finnish clubs as he has signed a two-year deal with the Pelicans.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets need to prove they can compete with Maple Leafs, Oilers. (Paywall). A big stretch of games coming up as the top three teams in the division get a chance to duke it out.

TSN: Jets’ forward depth keeping team afloat during Wheeler’s absence. With their win over the Senators Wednesday, the Jets improve their record to 3-1 during captain Blake Wheeler’s absence.
