Note: The Jets concluded their seven-game homestand last night with a 4-1 win over the Flames which saw them go 4-2-1 in the ‘Peg with an overall record of 7-3-1 on the season which puts them in third place in the North Division. The team has the next two days off.

Note II:  Today the AHL kicks off their regular season however the Moose continue with training camp out at the IcePlex as they wait for their regular season schedule.

Note III:  With the team off they made some transactions today reassigning David Gustafsson to the taxi squad and sending Cole Perfetti to the Moose followed by Kristian Vesalainen also being reassigned to the taxi squad.  There was also news that Dominic Toninato was placed on waivers.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets off to strong start and should only get better with addition of Dubois.  Considering they’ve managed to more than tread water since game 2 when they’ve been without Patrik Laine the addition of Pierre-Luc Dubois can only be a big boost to the third place in the North Jets. TSN: ‘I won’t be able to sleep the night before’: Dubois excited to join Jets. Pierre-Luc Dubois remains in quarantine since being traded to Winnipeg. Dubois joined TSN’s Sara Orlesky over a video call and admitted that he can’t wait to join the Jets in practice, and has been watching videos on social media to get an idea for what he is in for.
