Note: All three Jets prospects (Ville Heinola, Henri Nikkanen and Cole Perfetti ) at the World Juniors tournament were in action on Sunday. While none of the trio found the scoreboard on Sunday in their teams wins, Heinola had a huge impact on the game playing over 25 minutes while doing things like this and that.
Note II: Normally we’d publish our overseas prospect report this morning but as a number of players are playing tonight (which is essentially this afternoon in Winnipeg). You can read it here.
Note III: Some Sunday afternoon news as former Jets forward Mark Letestu has retired. Perhaps his biggest Jets highlight goes to his mustard munching which seemed to create quite a buzz during the 2019-20 pre-season.
Jets news:
NBC Sports: Jets 2020-21 NHL season preview. He takes a look back at last season, the additions, the subtractions, lists his three most interesting Jets, gives a best-case scenario, a worst-case scenario and ends with the Jets odds.
