TSN: Laine, Jets remain poised to part ways. I’m not sure why Laine’s agents would be adding any fuel to this fire because it could put the Jets into a weaker bargaining position with other NHL teams and therefore less likely to deal Laine for scraps. Also the headline is a bit aggressive for my taste. Lastly, it seems to be odd timing given the Jets acquisition of a centre for the 2nd line….but what do I know.
