Note:  The Jets groups remained the same on Wednesday split between the projected lineup group and black aces squad at the Iceplex.  You can also check out Paul Maurice’s Day 10 comments here.

Note II: Group 1 is scheduled to practice at 9:15 and Group 2 is scheduled to hit the ice at 9:45 however there is a scrimmage scheduled for 10 AM.  A new face is scheduled to make his first training camp appearance as Anthony Bitetto is listed on the Group 2 roster (Update: Following skate he advised that he had tested positive for COVID-19 back in June.  Listen to his comments here).  Last up for day 11 was Jets head coach Paul Maurice which you can listen to here.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Maurice emphasizes importance of keeping up fast pace in practice.  (Paywall).  Lots of folks would like to see the Jets up the tempo.  Of course this relates to the pace at practice.  

Winnipeg Free Press:  Morrissey’s Hart Trophy list would include Jets’ starting goaltender.  (Paywall).  As you’d expect from the Jets top pairing Dman a well thought out answer in response to the question about Hellebuyck and the Hart trophy.

Winnipeg Sun:  Hellebuyck snubbed when it comes to Hart, even if he doesn’t think soMy guess is the Jets top netminder will place fourth or fifth in voting for the trophy.  However seeing what Hellebuyck did for this Jets team it really is hard to see a player who was more valuable to his team. At least he should win the Vezina.

Sportsnet: Kyle Connor rounding out his game, with ‘top-10 player’ potentialThere is no doubt that in the offensive zone the speedy winger is continuing to hit new levels.
