Note II:  While the NHL is paused the AHL is cancelled and the second best pro league in North America has put together a 12 member task force of hockey executives which includes Mark Chipman and outgoing AHL President and CEO David Andrews to come up with a Return to Play plan.

Jets news:

Illegal Curve:  Jets sign goalie Arvid Holm to a three-year, entry-level contract.  Winnipeg inked their 2017 6th rounder yesterday afternoon to increase the goaltending stable for the organization.  I suspect he will remain in the SHL next season.

Illegal Curve:  Jets sign Kristian Reichel to a two-year ELC.  This is a bit of an under the radar signing if you don’t pay too close attention to the Moose.  Reichel, an undrafted free agent signing, turned two one-year AHL deals into this entry-level contract.

TSN:  Kyle Connor reflects on hat trick effort to close out 2019.  To have a look back at the Jets’ high-scoring win over the Avalanche from December 31st, Kyle Connor joins Sara Orlesky to reflect on the game that capped off 2019 and his second hat trick in the NHL that helped Winnipeg to the 7-4 victory.

TSN:  More than half of NHLers not in their team cities.  I suspect the Jets are accounting for a pretty, pretty, pretty big percentage of these players.
