Jets news:

The Athletic Winnipeg: With Blake Wheeler and Patrik Laine struggling, the Jets are getting by on hard work and heart.  (Paywall).  It ain’t gonna come easily for this Jets team all season long but perhaps if they can continue to bank points despite the overall team analytics, they could put themselves into a good position.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Finnish forward finds recipe for success.  (Paywall).  I’ve liked Joona Luoto’s game since training camp and when he was down with the Moose.  It felt like I had blinders on as I expected him to be one of the first guy’s recalled to the big club.  You can expect him to make the most of this opportunity.
