Note: A younger Jets team dropped their game in Calgary last night 2-0 to a more veteran Flames squad which puts Winnipeg’s pre-season record at 2-2-1. Today the team announced they had reduced the roster by 13 players which puts them at 32 currently left at training camp. Note II: Former Hurricanes defenceman Justin Faulk was mentioned as a possible trade target for the Jets but that won’t happen now as he was traded to Winnipeg’s division rival St. Louis on Tuesday with Carolina getting Brandon product Joel Edmundson and prospect Dominik Bokk.
