Note: It happened late on Monday so in case you missed it the Jets have sent the rights to Kevin Hayes (who is set to become a UFA on July 1st) to the Flyers for Philadelphia’s 5th round pick in 2019.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets won’t move Laine: Negotiations should heat up soon with Finnish sniper. I must be on summer mode because I feel like I disconnected for a day and suddenly the world was ending when it comes to the Jets and Patrik Laine. I suspect Ken hits it on the head with the “agent posturing” point and one we’ve made before on our show when it comes to Laine’s agent Mike Liut.
