Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news and audio.

Note:  The Jets finished off their one-game road trip in Chicago with a 4-3 OT win over the Hawks which improved them to 21-9-2 on the season.  The Jets were scheduled to practice at 12 noon but they cancelled it and instead will reconvene tomorrow as they prepare for a one game at home against the Lightning before leaving for three games on the road on the west coast.

Note II:  The Moose were also in action last night and despite the return of Sami Niku, who was reassigned by the Jets, were demolished 7-2 by the defending Calder Cup champion Marlies.  No rest for Manitoba however as they will be back in action against Toronto tonight at Bell MTS Place.  For the second night in a row I will be jumping back in the broadcast booth to provide colour analysis of the game which you can hear on TSN 1290 Winnipeg as well as Moose Hockey.

Note III:  Tune in for three hours of Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose and NHL hockey talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg starting at 9 am.  Listen here.

TSN: O’Neill breaks down Laine’s goal-scoring mentality.  After Patrik Laine said he doesn’t want to rack up too many assists, Jeff O’Neill breaks down Laine’s approach to scoring goals, and discusses how Paul Maurice can balance a player being well rounded versus just being a goal-scorer.
