Note: The Jets finished off their one-game road trip in Chicago with a 4-3 OT win over the Hawks which improved them to 21-9-2 on the season. The Jets were scheduled to practice at 12 noon but they cancelled it and instead will reconvene tomorrow as they prepare for a one game at home against the Lightning before leaving for three games on the road on the west coast.
Note II: The Moose were also in action last night and despite the return of Sami Niku, who was reassigned by the Jets, were demolished 7-2 by the defending Calder Cup champion Marlies. No rest for Manitoba however as they will be back in action against Toronto tonight at Bell MTS Place. For the second night in a row I will be jumping back in the broadcast booth to provide colour analysis of the game which you can hear on TSN 1290 Winnipeg as well as Moose Hockey.
Note III: Tune in for three hours of Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose and NHL hockey talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg starting at 9 am. Listen here.
